Registered Nurse, RGN and RMN - Trelana, Bude, EX23 9EL

Sharob Care has positions available for Registered Nurses with a variety of skills who together can provide the highest quality of care for Service Users with both physical and mental health needs. We also have a separate dementia Lowen Unit.
KEY DUTIES:
The successful applicant will be kind, caring and compassionate with a desire to make a difference. You will have a current valid NMC pin and recognized nursing qualification. Experience preferred but training provided. Staff accommodation with sea views available upon request.

Maintenance Person - Caprera, St Austell, PL25 5JG

At Sharob Care our caring, compassionate colleagues work tirelessly to provide the highest level of care to our residents across three homes in Cornwall. We have a new opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Person to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Group Facilities Manager, the successful candidate will support the Registered Manager and the wider Care Home Team with the internal and external maintenance and presentation of all areas of the home, to the best possible standard for our residents and colleagues.
KEY DUTIES:
· Carry out general buildings & grounds maintenance
· Carry out ongoing preventative and planned maintenance
· Maintaining a safe environment at all times
· Carry out regular painting and decorating as required
· Carry out minor plumbing works as required
· Identify and resolve minor domestic electrical problems or escalate as required
· Day to day maintenance of internal fixtures and fittings
· Perform regular compliance inspections and produce associated reports
· Support Registered Manager and Facilities Manager in all areas of Health & Safety compliance
· Complete regular statutory and compliance testing, e.g. Fire alarm, emergency lighting & legionella tests
· Liaising with & co-ordinating external contractors
· Attend emergency out of hours call outs and undertake emergency repairs as required
· Maintain ongoing cosmetic improvements to the internal and external environment
· Provide occasional support to other Sharob Care homes in Bude and Liskeard
· Drive initiatives to support Sharob Care’s sustainability and social responsibility targets
· Occasional requirement to drive company van or minibus as the need arises
· Any other reasonable tasks relating to maintenance of property & grounds
Required Skills, Experience and qualifications:
· Previous experience in general maintenance role, or equivalent preferred
· Level 2NVQ in building or trade qualification preferred
· Proficient standard in carpentry, painting & decorating and general building repairs
· Proficient in investigation and resolution of minor domestic electrical faults
· High level of practical competence with plumbing
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work under own initiative and without close supervision
· Proficient with Microsoft office
· Full Driving License
