My mother has been a permanent resident for nearly one year, before this she has a respite bed which was always made available when needed this was very much appreciated. I now feel reassured she is in the right place with the right level of care for her dementia. Eldon House has always looked after us as a family and supported us through her deterioration and kept a bed open for her when she needed to go into care permanently . I feel her dignity is respected and the carers always speak nicely to her with patience and calmness. The home is nicely decorated well equipped for all aspects of safety. The food is lovely and always smells wonderful. I'm always greeted nicely and never feel in the way whatever time I arrive. Excellent.

My gran has been a resident at Eldon House for nearly 2 years and the care that she receives is excellent. The staff are always attentive and helpful and all have a good sense of humour! They all work extremely hard to make every resident happy and feel at home.

I cannot recommend Eldon enough. When I first walked in the home with my mother and father, I was surprised at how homely it felt. I chatted to the some of the residents and felt reassured at how happy and settled they were. One gentleman resident told me he was happier here than he was at home and wish he had moved in years ago and I was sold. The staff really are exceptional and mum and dad moved in last year though mum sadly passed shortly after. I'm just happy that dad feels he is part of a family because I don't think he could of coped with losing mum otherwise. Nor could I for that matter and they were a great support to me too.
